I noticed I wasn't going as fast as I normally do- hard to pedal in places. After getting camp set and showered- I took a look at my rear wheel and found I had a broken spoke.
In effort to get the spoke out of the wheel, I simply cut the spoke with my players I have ( cut the wrong spoke). So then I found the right spoke I should have cut. Ended up taking the wheel apart to get a new spoke in the hub( thankfully it was mon-drive side). The one I cut was drive side.
In the next large enough town that has a bike shop I need to get a couple more spokes and get my rear wheel fully tried.
I got to say doing a wheel true in the field is a challenge, but it's a lot better than what I was rolling on earlier today. Rain is about to start.
