I made it to Chicago on Tuesday and stayed with Paul ad Denise (you two rock!) for a couple nights. Awesome to meet you Denise! Thank you for helping me with a place to stay and the hospitality.
Hanging with Laurence today. Rode up the lake coast to sheridan. Good hour ride. Fun riding through fog on my way.
It still gets me, I don't know if I'm unlucky or what because I for the life of me cannot find a state map of Illinois anywhere. Stopped at many gas stations, CVS, ad Walgreens to come out empty handed.
On Friday when I was riding over to Brian and Stephanie's apt in Lincoln square, I finally found a gas ration that sold maps if Illinois- back in business!!!!
I decided not to record the miles I rode between friends places and ad within the city for the purpose of throwing off an accurate count of miles ridden across country(i.e. city to city, state to state).
So in order to do a recap of Chicago these past 5 days (and free up storage space on my phone for more picture taking): all of my Chicago related pictures I'm going to post here:
