6/15/14- (Sunday) The Todd's

Today was something new for me. Like everyday since I woke up I packed up my gear and rode away from where I stayed the night prior.

In getting to HWY 104 from HWY 104A. I found something really awesome at the junction: breakfast. I originally thought it was a gas station only but while I was in there, I noticed it was also apart if a diner- so I sat down and had breakfast. Called the "Master Omlette" it had all the fixings and toast. Mmmmmmmmmmm. So good. A couple miles down the road I encountered fast food.

Yeah I stopped in to McDonalds to load up on calories and energy food. I can't wrap my head around how people eat so much fast food. Nearly every time I eat fast food, I either puke or come close to blowing chunks. Sooooo baddddd! So as I was riding towards Holland Corner on HWY 104, all of a sudden McDonalds came flying out of me. Felt a lot better after that.

Lake road took me along the coast of Lake Ontario from Holland Corner just past Ontario on the Lake where I got off and and had to walk. My legs were jello and was super hungry. Here comes the cool part.

This guy saw me walking my bike and asked if I needed help. I replied no but he insisted that I drink something so he went and brought me an AZ Ice Tea mango flavor. I wasn't hungry but I could eat as so I was offered a banana and a nutrition bar. Thank you guy. At this time my legs were feeling better and I almost got te road when I was aked if I would like a home cooked meal. In awe I said sure.

While this guy and his family were doing yard work, they let me put my feet up on their couch and relax, an I did just that. Great feeling. If I remember right, the guys name was Mark, his sons name was Shane, and Shane's mom was Deb(I think). The point here is they welcomed me into their home, gae me a hit shower, and gave me a hot homemade meal. Ribs, shrimp scampi, baked potato, and salad. Thank you so much!!!! In addition, I was offered a ride to the campground I planned to ride to and stay the night.

These people ( The Todd Family) are the nicest people I have met so far in this adventure of mine.

Made it to the campground with enough daylight left to pitch my tent. Saw Rochester from the view of a vehicle- pretty awesome!

Oh yeah, today's Fathers Day. Called the old man and wished him a great day from pultneyville, ny. Got a photo of the lake from here. Gorgeous.

Thank you again for everything Todd family!!

Most likely rain tomorrow so I'm not sure how many or if I will get any photo opportunities as I ride to Niagra. I'm going to attempt camping on goats Island in Niagra, if they will let me. Cheers for now!
