Today's ride = 64 miles

These are notes I jotted down when I was saving phone battery when i had no service: 

Max speed: 45mph down a 9% grade going down into Kent, CT.

8pm right now. I'm 3 miles north of Kent, CT in Macedonia Brook State Park. 

Fun ride today, walked more than usual but it was good for the legs. Hot day! Must be between 80 and 90 with decent humidity. 

No bathhouse at this campsite so it will be a baby wipes for a shower tonight. Still stinky though. 

Will be in NY first thing tomorrow morning. Need to get an NY map. I changed my route today. 

I was going to go southwest towards Danbury, CT and then I had a great idea--> go see Niagra Falls just north of Buffalo in NY. 

Because I'm not legal to ride my bicycle on interstates, took state and local highways which caught me by surprise- ->9% grade downhill, a bunch of long hills, and beautiful countryside. 

I hit some if what I think are great pictures near litchfield, CT of amazing overlook scenic view like pics if rolling and tree covered farm/ranch land. 

I took 20 minute break here in the 2nd picture just watching the country. Best break so far in my journey.
